Quotography & 40/365

This is my first time participating in Quotography.  I thought that this was the perfect week to start though since the theme was our choice.  When I started to think about what I should use this was really the only quote that came to mind... the photo quickly followed.

I really love that quote.  It makes me wish for a larger bathtub.

After thinking about it, I am also making this photo my 365 for Monday.  I just simply did not take any better photos today.

Glasses in the sun.


I decided to pull out my wine and champagne glasses today.  The sparkles that show through the glass and water are beautiful.  If I hadn't been going blind looking out the window towards the sun I probably could have gotten even better ones.  The water in the glass just wasn't as dramatic as I was wanting but the red wine provided a wonderful contrast.  These were all shot in Manual mode.  I think that I am getting better at Manual mode.
