I am a little late getting this posted... but it is still Sunday, so it counts.
Seeing Double This is actually just a test shot that I took at a local park this week. I was scouting a location to use for a maternity session and wanted to make sure that there would be a reflection in the water from the bank. After I edited the photo, I decided that there was too much green in the photo and that it was just sort of blah! So I put it into black and white... still blah! Half and half though I liked.
Whatever I don't know how much more whatever you can get than the exoskeleton of a bug.
Sweet I thought about doing some sort of food here, but instead I went with this one of my daughter playing her aunt's ipod. She was using an app to make cookies and cupcakes (no really she was) so it fits in quite nicely.
Space Limitless fields and sky. Plenty of space to run. See I made it make sense.
Things that look like a letter We visited an old (very old) playground. This is one of the bars. From the right angle I thought that it looked like a Z. Maybe?
Weather The weather here has been mild all week. Clouds and a lot of heat but no rain.
Bling Fairy princess bling. I was really grasping at straws for this photo.
Tangled What could be more tangled than ivy vines climbing up the side of a building?
Dark The moon and stars. The photo of the stars is pretty cool because when I looked through my viewfinder I could only see one star. I set the exposure to 30 sec. and just let it go. I really like how it picked up the blues and reds in the stars.
This is my first time doing the scavenger hunt. I have been taking photos for it all week but have either used them in my Project 365 or another post. So I apologize if some of my themes appear more than once. I will make sure that no picture repeats.
Windows/Doors I wanted to do something different than just take a picture of a window or a door. I had a few other ideas too, but this is the one that became a reality. My front windows face west which makes this the sun just before it sets.
Eyelashes This was a more difficult photo to take than it should have been. Theory- put on a movie and she will watch it and I can get my eyelash pictures. Reality- my too smart stinker of a daughter (who has decided not to willingly be the subject of my photos anymore) knew that was what I was doing and started blinking really fast just so that her lashes would be blurry. *sigh*

Leaf Veins I have to tell you that this also was not an easy photo to take. (I think that I picked the wrong day to try all this... everything worked against me.) The wind was blowing pretty hard. This is the white birch tree at my mother-in-law's house. The beetles are obviously back again.
Faceless Portrait I'll admit that this subject had me stumped for a while. I couldn't think of anything that would work except the back of my daughter's head. The answer came to me when I noticed that my daughter's fingernails were painted two different colors. One is pink, the other is black. Then I noticed that her two aunts both had their nails painted the same. One girl has the black fingernails, the other has the pink nails. Kiera has one hand to match them both. How is that for not taking sides?
